Phnom Penh, 1st August 2023– Cambodia Capture The Flag 2023 (CTF 2023) is open for registration and looking for young enthusiasts passionate about cyber security to be part of this national competition. This program initiated by Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) and organized by the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology, as well as technical assistance from partners such as Technovage Solution and SalaCyber. Participants will have the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges and learn from experienced mentors, all while competing for exciting prizes and recognition.
CTF 2022 has been a remarkable program receiving around 270+ applications selected only 120 in Qualification Round Online Exam to participate in training with the experts prepared to join on the final competition. On the final competition day, it consists of 3 impressive keynotes from experts in the field. This event brings together cybersecurity enthusiasts, students, and professionals to test their knowledge and problem-solving abilities in various areas of cybersecurity.
CTF 2023 foster cybersecurity skills and promotes learning and collaboration in a challenging and engaging environment. Cybersecurity plays a crucial role in today’s digital landscape, and CTF events provide an ideal platform to showcase talent, sharpen skills, and stay updated with the latest techniques and technologies.
The top 3 winners will receive 2 million riels in cash and win the chance to represent Cambodia on the international stage on “ASEAN Cyber SEAGAME” “Singapore Cyber Conquest”, and other prominent competitions.
CTF is looking for candidates who are Khmer nationals from 15-30 years old, passionate about cyber security, and web applications, and have foundation knowledge in operating systems like Window, and Linux and can use command lines. Candidates are also highly recommended to have a basic understanding of Network and Database, MSSQL, MySQL… Candidates are encouraged to bring their laptops to participate in the competition.
