Phnom Penh, 08th June 2022 – Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) and La French Tech have successfully co-organized APAC Gathering in collaboration with EuroCham. The gathering is conducted at CADT Innovation Center, attending with many honorable guests from the government leaders, management, lecturers, CADT academic staff, companies, and partner organizations gathering around 350 attendees.
The joyous gathering is aiming to mobilize La French Tech APAC communities, around the French Tech Mission in a common event, while bringing together the Cambodian tech & startup community. As part of the program highlight, the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) and the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham) also have signed the Memorandum of Understanding to explore closer cooperation, to support European digital and tech companies in Cambodia and help strengthen the country’s digital transformation.
The MoU would be of great value and kick-start a strong establishment of relations between Cambodia and the European digital ecosystem.
The French Tech APAC Gathering bring together key players of the Cambodian tech & startup ecosystem, from public sector leaders to key private sector players, investors to students to discuss the Cambodian ecosystem. Together, the gathering has become a shared platform consisting of notable programs whereas
- Startup Ecosystem Conference,
- Pitching Session 1 – The Bellwethers,
- Pitching Session 2 – The Challengers,
- Pitching Session 3 – The Early Stage, and
- Panel discussion: Venture Capital Investment in Cambodia joined by around 20 startups and tech companies.
The programs are designed to allow startups from the APAC region to meet the Cambodian ecosystem and present their offer and products to professionals and the public.
The French Tech APAC Gathering enables personal and commercial relationships between startups and entrepreneurs from the different French Tech APAC communities, and the Cambodian Tech & startup community, and fosters business opportunities contributing to the development of Cambodia’s digital economy and transformation.
